This has been a crazy weekend, with lots of good progress made on both the pasture fencing projects and on the dining room makeover. Luckily, I still managed to plan out some yummy and healthy meals for this week. I hope you enjoy the ideas!
Menu: January 21-27
Monday 1/21: Steak, creamed kale, sweet potato puree (kale, sweet potatoes and cream and cream cheese all come from our farm. Steak is grass fed beef from Huntsville, AL)
Tuesday 1/22: Pasta Alfredo with zucchini & chicken (Cream, butter and frozen zucchini came from our farm. Chicken, unfortunately, will not. We haven't had a mean rooster in awhile...)
Wednesday 1/23: Pork chops, broccoli, buttered noodles (some of the broccoli and the butter come from our farm)
Thursday 1/24: Pioneer Woman's Buffalo Chicken Salad (Salad greens & buttermilk from here)
Friday 1/25: Homemade whole wheat pizza (farm-made sauce, either tomato or pesto, with homemade mozzarella)
Saturday 1/26: We have tickets to the circus!!! We will probably go out to eat afterwards.
Sunday 1/27: Roast, brown rice and gravy with carrots (Grass-fed local beef)
