Beeswax Candle {Review & Giveaway}

Once again, my friends at Mohawk Valley Trading Company have come through in a big way!  They sent me a beautiful package of 100% beeswax candles to try and enjoy.  What’s better than that?  One of you will win the same set, so keep on reading for details!

100% beeswax candles from Mohawk Valley Trading Company

The set they sent consists of:

One, 2″ x 6″ 100% Pure Beeswax Pillar Candle

Two, 100% Pure Beeswax Votive Candles

Two, 100% Pure Beeswax Taper Candles

Six, 100% Pure Beeswax Tea Light Candles

Twelve, 100% Pure Beeswax Birthday Candles

I have read so much about the health benefits of beeswax candles since we started keeping bees last year, so I was eager to try these!  It is thought that burning beeswax candles actually help to purify the air by releasing negative ions.  I don’t know much about that, but it’s worth a try!

Having tried my hand at making beeswax candles myself, I will say that their tea lights, which I used in my essential oil diffuser burned hours longer than the ones I made.  Maybe the wick is a better quality, who knows, but I was very pleased by the burning life of these candles!

My favorite product they sent, however, was the beeswax birthday candles!  My kids just went nuts over these!  I had honestly never given much thought to birthday candles, you know, if you are lucky, you remember to pick some up at the store before a birthday.  If you aren’t, you rummage through the junk drawer until you find the right number of mismatched, partially burned candles to do the job.  Is that just me? Nevermind then.  My point is that these are beautifully made, larger than your typical birthday candle, and add a touch of class to your cake.  I’m a big fan!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy these candles as much as I do, and one of you will get to enjoy them for FREE!

    We burn candles often in the winter time, especially when the electric goes out. Have to be very watchful as they burn because we have cats and yes they are very curious.

    We frequently burn beeswax candles..they have such a soft warm glow..the scent is unbeatable and if they really do release happy ions in the air so much the better!

    I bought 2 ounces of beeswax at Pearl Market a couple of weeks ago just to make some DIY Neosporin. I haven’t got there yet but I will!!
