Heather Jackson of Green Eggs & Goats

Hi! I’m Heather.

Welcome to Green Eggs & Goats! Go grab a cup of coffee, or beverage of your choice and let’s get to know each other.  I live in a rural area just north of Birmingham, Alabama. A couple of years ago, my husband and I, along with our 3 children said goodbye to suburban living. We bought a few acres in the country with room for our children to run and space to raise our own food. Although we have a lot of chores to do each day, we have never been happier! Each morning, I homeschool my brood, but not before the animals are milked and the eggs are gathered!

About Green Eggs & Goats

Green Eggs & Goats is a fast growing, colorful web page with homesteading at the heart of it all. While I love our animals, and their health is of extreme importance to me, great food is my primary reason for my rural lifestyle. We raise dairy goats, a Jersey cow, chickens, ducks, guineas and honeybees here on the farm, along with tons of fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables. We rarely have a shortage of fabulous, high-quality raw ingredients with which to create in the kitchen. So if I post about milking a cow, just know, it’s because I have fabulous plans for the milk! 1. Hi Heather,

My name is Bryce. I just got done watching your videos about catching the swarm of bees. Did you ever catch the last half of the swarm of bees. Your farm is beautiful by the way. Thanks for the video post.

I Wanted to gauge your interests in working together on a project. I’m a representative of a company called Incubator Warehouse which sells chicken hatching and keeping supplies. It sounds like you have a pretty nice chicken operation and was wondering if you would like review our products. Take a look around the site and let me know if you’re interested.

    Thanks,
    Bryce
